This dish is the perfect center piece on a table, shelf or otherwise. Decorated with flower pots, candles, Christmas decorations and other things on the tray. The WOODz tray is also a tray that carries more than just objects - it carries the story of sustainability and women's strength. Behind each and every tray lie hours of handwork and dedication from the women in OOhh's fair trade women's project.

By choosing a WOOD'z dish, you get a unique handmade and sustainable product. In the WOOD'z series, OOhh decorates their recycled paper with sawdust from the local sawmills in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has a large furniture industry where many different types of wood are used. OOhh has carefully selected sawdust from different types of wood and mixed these to create different beautiful colors. To achieve a nice black colour, OOhh has burned some of the sawdust and created ash, which is mixed in. So different colors without the use of paint. Who would have thought that was possible?

Not only is this tray beautiful and functional, it also demonstrates our commitment to a more sustainable world. OOhh's Zero Waste paper is produced in-house, where own surplus paper is converted into new paper in an extremely simple process and with the help of rainwater and the natural sun. OOhh's Zero Waste paper is a fantastic example of the green development of the future, where own residual waste is used internally.

As packaging material has a big impact on the environment Lübech Living always reuse received packaging material to pack your order. You might also recieve boxes from non-related industries as we collect packaging from other companies in our area in our attempt to fight waste of ressources.
