The stars are made of OOhh's zero waste paper and decorated with recycled sawdust to offer an environmentally friendly choice of Christmas decorations. The ornaments are made by the women in OOhh's fair trade project in Sri Lanka. A project that has helped many women create an income for themselves and their families since 2010.

You can advantageously combine these small ornaments with much of OOhh's other Christmas decorations from the WOODz series as well as the pulp series, zero waste series, ecofelt, and more.

OOhh's Zero Waste paper is produced internally. A technique we started in 2018, where we transform our own paper waste equivalent to about 20,000 kg per year as well as other collected paper waste into new paper. The softness of the paper allows us to shape the most beautiful models in the paper. Zero Waste paper is a fantastic example of future green development.
