OOhh Birdhouse – A sustainable home for birds, created with care
The OOhh Birdhouse is a new design from Lübech Living, crafted with care and respect for our planet. With its beautiful, tactile surface, it not only enhances your garden or terrace but also contributes to a more sustainable outdoor environment.
The idea of designing a birdhouse has been on Susanne Lübech’s drawing board for several years. Only now have we found the perfect material that is durable for outdoor use, while also creating a design that provides birds with a safe and comfortable home.
The birdhouse is available in two versions:
OBIW – can be mounted on a wall
OBIR – comes with a rope at the top, so it can be hung from, for example, a tree
Each birdhouse is made from 100% natural latex and recycled sawdust sourced from local furniture craftsmen in Sri Lanka. The materials are weather-resistant and durable, ensuring the birdhouse can withstand outdoor use for many years.
The birdhouses are produced by the women in OOhh’s women’s project in Sri Lanka, who since 2010 have been working with social responsibility, sustainable materials, and environmentally friendly production methods, including naturally sun-drying products to reduce energy consumption.
